Settling in at Home

This first few days at home have been, well, like the first few days at home usually are... Filled with relief to be in our own environment, TIRING, full of challenging toddler moments as well as sweet brother-sister ones as well, and full of lots of helping hands!

We've gone from the first night where Hadley refused to sleep anywhere but in our arms to the last few nights where she peacefully slept in the pack and play between all of her feedings! Oh, the difference a few days can make! In general, Hadley is doing great and in the midst of all the adjustment, she seems to be the "easy part". She's eating well, sleeping a lot (in the day of course :), and she's really just as sweet as she looks!

Tucker is really doing well with everything too... He has certainly had his share of "acting out" moments, but he isn't directing it at Hadley. He talks about her often, calling her "Haffy"...we love this! He likes to "watch her" in the pack and play by bringing a stool over to stand in. He insists on giving her her blanket, stuffed animals, lotion (diaper rash cream) and anything else that seems to be "hers". His world has been full of distractions with Gigi here and Aunt Bethie as well the last few days...it will certainly be a different story when we're all alone again (scary!).

It is great to all be under one roof together and figuring out our new normal of being a family of 4!
Daddy...in heaven :)
Tucker's 2 favorite people these days...A chick-fil-A milkshake? Yes, please!
