Well, technically, Tucker was dedicated on Sunday... But I really love the way our pastor explains that this is just as much us dedicating ourselves as parents to raise Tucker up in a way that points him to Jesus! It was fun to make our dedication public and to have our church body pray for Tucker!

We were asked to pick a verse to read over Tucker and we chose Matthew 7: 24-27..."Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."
Tucker, we pray that you will build your life on The Rock--Jesus--the Only One who can provide a firm foundation through life's ups and downs. We love you and look forward to seeing how God works in your life as He draws you to Himself!
