Tucker Monthly!

So, I'm not going to promise to update you every week now and I'm not going to call it Tucker Weekly...but I do want to make sure you know what's going on with our little guy and the milestones he's hitting as he gets older!

Yesterday he was 13 months old! It's hard to believe it's been a month since his birthday party and celebrating the one-year mark! Tucker has made the crossover from newborn to toddler and it really seems like that in the way he looks and acts (toddler attitude :)!

This month, Tucker...

...is moving around and exploring everywhere, but he is not walking. He walks with the furniture but he just doesn't seem to have any interest in standing on his own or walking...fine with me!

...is LOUD! He is making so much noise and talking a lot, but most of the time, we have no idea what he is saying! We know he says "mama", "daddy", and "BALL"...

...And speaking of balls, he has quite an obsession with them! He says "ball" about 100 times a day...any time anything resembles a ball, like a balloon or something on tv, he says it. He loves to bounce balls, wind back his arm to throw it to you, hold them... he LOVES them!

...has become a little more picky in eating...he's not really loving any vegetables which is frustrating, but we'll keep trying. His favorite foods are chicken, cheese, bread, pasta, bananas, grilled cheese, goldfish, puffs, yogurt, applesauce, and BEANS--pinto, refried, black...this is probably his favorite choice!

...is still very "chill"...very observant and can be slow to warm up. He notices A LOT and stares people and things down until he figures it out! But, he has the BEST giggle and loves to be tickled, chased, and throw in the air!

...still loves our weekly time with the Gibbs boys and our weekly play date with Bosten! It's fun to watch him interact more and more while playing and I'm thankful for the socialization for this only child!

...But, he is still very attached to mama... He definitely has a hard time when I leave him places and he always "chooses" me. But, thankfully he loves Daddy too and loves going to him at the end of the day!

...is still growing like a weed! He was a little over 26 pounds last week when we were at the doctor for the sick visit!

...and we will hopefully get a good report when we go to the doctor this Thursday to recheck his blood work. He, well, we definitely had a rough week with his high fevers and several different needles... we are praying for a good report of perfectly normal blood work so we can put this behind us!

13 months here we come!
