He started calling people by name and talking about people (by name) behind their backs. It has been so sweet to watch him remember people and want to talk about his little friends especially!
He loves school and talks about "Miss Sarah" and his 3 little friends there all the time! I'm so thankful he's all smiles when I drop him off on Tuesday and Thursday!
He loves his instruments and has started singing more and more to himself while he plays...maybe he'll be a musician and an athlete?
He loves "his puppy" and he affectionately calls her that these days... He likes to help feed her, give her commands, and even "snuggle" her on the couch while he watches a show. Quite a sweet pair, these two!
He survived the road trip to Missouri for Thanksgiving! We learned that he is a pretty good traveler but quite the insomniac when it comes to riding in the car! He loved all his family..."Grandpa" and "Grandmom" and especially his older cousins that he did a pretty good job of keeping up with! With everything being set up for Christmas during that Thanksgiving week, this is definitely when he started to get turned onto to Santa Claus, Christmas lights, Baby Jesus, Elmo's Christmas, etc....
He's more and more independent these days and his favorite word quickly became "MYSELF"! He wanted to try everything on his own and most of the time, I'm thankful for that. :) I've been able to encourage him to walk a lot more, instead of being held... this is very helpful on the stairs especially as my belly has been in a constant state of growing :)
He is so active! He loves to play with balls still (of all kinds!) and he is most content when he can hold 2 or 3 at a time...he enjoys puzzles, blocks, coloring, stickers, his farm animals and tractors... and he still enjoys us reading several books to him (which is about all he sits still for).

We are so thankful for our toddler and there are moments OFTEN that I realize these times of it just being "us 3" need to be treasured!
