Tucker Monthly!

Well, I'm a little far behind on Tucker's 19 months post... But, I'm excited to tell you about what our busy little guy is up to!

He LOVES watermelon! Every time we've given it to him, he keeps begging for more even after he's eaten way too much!

He's still not saying clear words all the time, but he's trying to say more and more! He's a good listener though and clearly understands different things I ask him to do like throw something in the trash, get your shoes, etc.

He is imitating everything we do! Like...
~taking a pitcher to pour Grey's water into her bowl just like we do
~using my brush to brush his own hair
~wiping his mouth on the hand towel after he finishes brushing his teeth
~holding a tissue or rag up to his nose and pretending that he's blowing his nose
~ pretending to use the watering can...

He loves to be outside! We went to the fountain at Birkdale this week for the first time (a popular kids play place near here) and although he wasn't brave enough to run into the shooting water, he loved running around and watching it!

He knows how to pray! Cutest thing ever! Before we can even prompt him most nights, he reaches for both of our hands to remind us to pray for our food. What a glimpse of how important it is to point our children to Christ!

He's really into his toy trains. Or anything that "goes" for that matter. He likes to push them on the track, make cars go, and make noises for all of them as they do so!

He wants everything in it's place. HE IS HIS FATHER'S CHILD. :) Seriously, he closes every door, picks up toys on the floor, puts remotes where they are "supposed to go"...he likes everything to be where it should be and it is becoming hilarious!

He was very patient with me as I was much busier than normal with the Bake Sale! Fortunately, GiGi came for a week around the festival and Tucker had so much fun getting all the attention! I seriously have the greatest mom...Thanks GiGi!

He is still obsessed with balls! He's recently learned to kick and I honestly think he would be content to throw the ball back and forth all day long...really.
In general, Tucker just seems so independent! From walking up and down stairs to using utensils when he eats, he doesn't seem to need much help these days! But, he is still a mama's boy and seems to love to snuggle more and more the older he gets. He still loves Elmo, Barney, and the Wiggles and is still super attached to his "binkie". He dances whenever music comes on and claps well on beat. He eats like a 5 year old sometimes, and is the cutest blond haired, blue eyed boy I know! We're looking forward to the summer months with our boy!
