Too good not to share...

If you know me, you know I love a good deal, especially when it involves a coupon and a sale at the grocery store! I've really been trying to shop at Walmart and other cheaper grocery stores lately, even though at heart, I'm a grocery snob and I really just want to pretend money is not an option when it comes to cooking. But, today I headed to Harris Teeter because the deals were just too good to pass up. Their frozen bags of chicken breasts are buy one, GET TWO FREE and 2 pound bags of frozen shrimp are buy one, GET TWO FREE! Seriously? So, I stocked up and I'm proud to announce that I spent $116.00 and I SAVED $113.00! So, basically, I got $229.00 worth of groceries for $116.00! That fires me up :)

Check out this week's specials at Harris Teeter and go stock up before they run out (Special just started yesterday)!

Tucker Weekly

Tucker is 28 weeks old! I'm still amazed that he can do new stuff every week!
Some happenings:

--He's reaching! Reaching for people, for Grey, for toys, and any object worth putting in his mouth!
--He is making A LOT of noise!
--He's had avocados and applesauce, and likes both!
--He's gotten his second tooth...I was finally able to get a picture--you can see the first tooth well!

I'll leave you with a few "screened-in porch pictures"... We are LOVING sitting outside these days and Tucker and I hang out there at least one a day! He loves being outside and so does the rest of the family, as you can see :)

Hanging with the big boys!

Tucker and I have so much fun on Tuesdays when we go hang out with the Gibbs boys! They are so sweet and nurturing to Tucker...they sing him to sleep, they entertain him, they play with him...and they seem to love having him in their house! I finally brought the camera to capture these three cute ones... We love you guys!

Sailboats, Spring Colors, and SO much celebrating!

Saturday was such a fun day at my house! Jennie, Emily, and myself threw a baby shower for our dear friend Andrea! This was such a special shower since Andrea has been on quite a long journey waiting for this little baby... I think we've all been wanting to throw this shower for years! Andrea is one of the most expressive, funny, sassiest girls I know and I love that her personality was captured in so many of these pictures! She is so excited to welcome her baby boy, Jake, into the world sometime in the next several weeks and Tucker and I can't wait to have another little guy to hang out with! Jake's nursery "theme" is nautical, so the shower was full of this theme as well! We had so much fun bringing all the details together and we pulled it off...even though I arrived into town just a few hours before it all began!

Enjoy the slideshow!

Back home...

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh... Home Sweet Home! What a week we had! We've been at the beach, in Missouri, and now we're back at home! Tucker didn't sleep in his bed for nine days! I think Tucker officially saw every relative he has in a matter of 7 days! Between all the pack and plays, relatives, random people, plane trips, and car rides, he should be the most flexible baby ever! Considering it all, he did do pretty well, and he did prove to be flexible at times (and of course, not so much at times). By the time we got to Missouri, he acted like he had never seen a stranger, which was probably due to being around so many people at the beach. We were very thankful for that since the I-only-love-my-mommy attitude has been going strong!

We had so much fun seeing so many people we love and getting a "change of scenery", especially since that scenery didn't require me to clean, cook, or do anything else too strenuous! I'm excited to get back into the routine tomorrow...for this schedule mama, this is a good thing!

Have a great start to your week!

Some pictures from our few days in Missouri...

Grandpa Seabaugh

This past week we said goodbye to Brad's sweet Grandpa Seabaugh. I love this picture of him and Brad from Brad's childhood. After our time in Missouri, Brad and I have had several conversations about Grandpa and we always end them by saying, "I don't think you could say a single negative thing about that man".

He loved life...
He was always cheerful and quick to make a joke...
He loved his wife and was married to her for 60 years!
He took being a grandpa and a great-grandpa very seriously...
He loved Jesus and that was evident in his life...
He always made everyone feel special and cared for...
He left behind a lot of people that will miss him dearly...

As we grieve this loss, we celebrate the amazing life that Grandpa lived and the legacy that he leaves behind! We are so grateful that he is hanging out with Jesus, with a perfect, healthy body!

We are so thankful that Grandpa got to meet Tucker... These are a few pictures from our time together in January!

Tucker Weekly

This week's Tucker Weekly is coming to you from the beach! We have had a great week--change of scenery...lots of family...no housework...lots of help with Tucker...sunshine... We will be sad to leave tomorrow! Tucker has had a few firsts this week...
*He went to the beach!
*He ate bananas!
*He tried to drink out of a sippy cup...key word--tried!
*And he survived a house full of 8 people and almost as many dogs last weekend!

We've gotten to see a lot of family since most of our relatives live around here and everyone has been excited to see Tucker! Yesterday we visited with my Papa and my Mema--Tucker's great-grandparents!

Mema and Tucker!
